We’ve released a focused update to make Hunmeng easier to use on phones, from finding a novel to settling into a chapter.
What’s improved
- A more welcoming home page. The illustrated introduction now takes up less space on smaller screens. Search, reading shortcuts, and the featured novel are easier to reach, with the New novels section appearing sooner.
- Faster access to the catalog. A more compact banner and filter panel bring the first novel into view sooner. Search by title or author and a Sort by selector are available immediately; additional filters remain expandable.
- Clearer chapter information. Novel pages now show published chapters and chapters planned in total separately, with a link to the release schedule when available.
- More comfortable reading controls. The mobile reading toolbar has refined spacing, larger touch targets, and more room below the chapter text, including support for phone safe-area insets.
- Motion that respects your preferences. Mobile content remains readable without waiting for introductory animations, and reduced-motion preferences are respected.
What stays the same
This is a layout and usability update, not a change to the reading or reward systems. No novels or chapters were added as part of this release. Your library, reading progress, XP, ranks, and account data have not been migrated or reset. Requests for new novels are not enabled by this update.
We hope these refinements make every visit a little more comfortable. Thanks for reading with Hunmeng!
